As of 1st May 2025 Dawn Harding will assume the Chair role at Spotlight YOPD.
We recruited Dawn as Chair Elect several months ago as we knew that Nikki Cole would come to the end of her six year tenure at the beginning of May.
Nikki said “I am so proud of what the Board has achieved in what seems like a short time at Spotlight YOPD. I have enjoyed myself and will look back with pride at the way the Charity has grown and matured under the leadership of first Gaynor Edwards (Founder and CEO) and then Carl Beech (CEO).
In particular, I will look back with fond memories of the WPC 2023 with the YOPD stand by so many people just to meet and make friends and just chill.
I know I leave the Charity in safe hands with an excellent group of committed Trustees and Dawn Harding leading them.”
Dawn added “Nikki has served the charity with integrity and professionalism and used her considerable governance experience to effect improvement in a sustainable way; she leaves big shoes to fill, and I am grateful to have had several months of handover from her, as I pick up the reigns.”
